Nicki Minaj Raps for Romney?

Nicki Minaj Sexy

Actor-director Clint Eastwood might have some celebrity company this week with his allegiance toMitt Romney.
Rapper Nicki Minaj appears to endorse Romney's presidential bid in a new rap song out this week.
Minaj recorded the verse in a guest appearance on the track "Mercy" on fellow rapper Lil Wayne's mix tape "Dedication 4," which was released online Monday.
"I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy [expletive] is [expletive] up the economy," Minaj says.
Born Onika Tanya Maraj in Trinidad and Tobago, the multi-racial, hip-hop star was raised in New York City and attended LaGuardia High School for music and the arts.
Her representatives did not respond to numerous ABC News requests for comment about what the lyrics mean or whether Minaj is registered to vote in the United States.
Minaj, 29, took to Twitter earlier this year, venting to the official @BarackObama campaign account about the lack of universal health care after "Moesha" actress Yvette Wilson died of cervical cancer.
"What's sad is that when Yvette was bringing home the bacon, the gov't was probably taking millions. On her deathbed though, #Nowheretobefound," she wrote. "That should be a God given right! Even with Obama Care, too much involved. Just give FREE health care to all. @BarackObama what can we do?"
Rapper Talib Kweli chalked up Minaj's latest political comments as a public relations stunt.
"I doubt Nicki seriously supports Romney," he tweeted. "Her lyrics ain't political. She just wants y'all to talk about her & she winning cuz it's working."

Elton John Slams Madonna: 'Her Career Is Over'

Singer also lashes out at Queen of Pop's appearance and her treatment of Lady Gaga.

Elton John has taken his war of words with Madonna to a whole new level.

Talking to Australia's Channel 7 program on Sunday, John said (via ABC News) that the pop queen's "career is over" and insulted her appearance, saying she "she looks like a f---ing fairground stripper."

The pair have been feuding for years, but his latest attack on Madge seemed especially mean-spirited. Asked about the diva, who's currently touring the world on her hugely successful but bad press-plagued MDNATour, John said, "Why is she such a nightmare? Her career is over, I can tell you that. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger cu--."

But he didn't stop there. John went on to offer up a backhanded compliment while dismissing Madonna's most recent album, MDNA,before insulting her looks and complaining that she has been rude to his friend, Lady Gaga.

"If Madonna had any common sense, she would have made a record likeRay of Light, stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and made great pop records, which she does brilliantly," John continued. "But no, she had to prove that she was like ... and she looks like a f---ing fairground stripper."
He went on to complain, "She's been so horrible to [Lady] Gaga."

John and Madonna have long been involved in a bitter feud. Earlier this year, at the Golden Globe Awards, John dismissed Madonna's chances of taking home the Best Original Song prize for her "W.E." balled, "Masterpiece." When she did best John's "Gnomeo and Juliet" duet with Lady Gaga, "Hello, Hello," for the award, his husband, David Furnish went on a Facebook tirade against the Material Girl, writing, "Madonna.

Best song???? F--K off! ... Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism."

John previously blasted Madonna in 2004 after she won the Q Music Magazine for Best Live Act, charging, "Madonna, best f---ing live act? F--- off. Since when has lip-synching been live?"

New Planet Found, Smaller Than Earth, Orbiting Distant Star

Thirty-three light-years away, in the constellation Leo the lion, astronomers say they have found a world considerably smaller than Earth, orbiting a dim red-dwarf star.
That's something to think about. While scientists have confirmed the existence of more than 700 so-called exoplanets since 1995, most of them have been giant -- many considerably larger than Jupiter. This new world, say the researchers who found it, may be only 5,200 miles across, about two thirds as large as Earth.
"People have been picking at the low-hanging fruit, since Jupiter-sized planets are easier to see," said Kevin Stevenson, the young researcher at the University of Central Florida who led the team making the find. "Now we're really pushing the limits of what our telescopes can find."
The newly found world is, for now, called UCF-1.01, and Stevenson and his colleagues found it with NASA's Spitzer space telescope in Earth orbit. It orbits a star called GJ 436. They spent a year watching it to confirm that it was indeed a distant world. They are publishing their find online Thursday in the Astrophysical Journal.
UCF-1.01 is probably not a very nice place. Stevenson and his group calculated that it whips around its host star in only 1.4 Earth-days, at a distance of about 1.6 million miles (we're 93 million miles from our sun). Temperatures on its surface probably exceed 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, raising the possibility that some of it is molten, covered in lava. Any atmosphere would have boiled away long ago, said the researchers.
They could not see it directly -- its sun is nothing but a dot in a telescope -- but they could see a tiny dip in the star's brightness as the disc of UCF-1.01 passed in front of it. For now, they cannot even calculate its mass; current technology is not good enough for a reliable number.
Nobody will be launching a mission to UCF-1.01 anytime soon; there are other worlds, including moons of Jupiter and Saturn, that look much more promising as homes for living things. Still, the find suggests that if this world could be detected, others -- perhaps in the so-called habitable zones around their host stars -- may soon be found as well.
"The discovery was completely by accident," said Stevenson in a telephone interview with ABC News. They were looking at another, much larger planet orbiting the same star, "and there were these spurious signals we could not explain."
