Rihanna will be taking the stage at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday Sept. 6, the pop star confirms on Twitter. When a fan tweeted to Rihanna regarding a rumored performance, the pop star ecstatically confirmed the news to all of her followers! Rihanna tweeted, "@DreezyOnHer: OMG!! RIHANNA'S GONNA BE PERFORMING AT THE VMAs!!!!!” PHUCK YES I WILLLL!!! JUST FOR MY NAVY!!!!" Even better, speculation points toward a major collaboration among Rihanna and her former lovers -- Chris Brown ANDDrake! Chris may even be up for the on-stage collaboration because he puts Rihanna's success in front of his personal feelings! A source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com
