MTV Video Music Awards 2013: The Complete List of Winners!

It's a big night in the Big Apple! The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards have finally arrived. Stars including Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, and Macklemore hit the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Sunday, Aug. 25 -- and Us Weekly is keeping a close eye on all the action.

Rihanna Confirms Major MTV Video Music Award Performance

Rihanna has confirmed a major MTV Video Music Award performance -- will she collaborate with BOTH Chris Brown and Drake? Find out all the details.

Rihanna will be taking the stage at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday Sept. 6, the pop star confirms on Twitter. When a fan tweeted to Rihanna regarding a rumored performance, the pop star ecstatically confirmed the news to all of her followers! Rihanna tweeted, "@DreezyOnHer: OMG!! RIHANNA'S GONNA BE PERFORMING AT THE VMAs!!!!!” PHUCK YES I WILLLL!!! JUST FOR MY NAVY!!!!" Even better, speculation points toward a major collaboration among Rihanna and her former lovers -- Chris Brown ANDDrake! Chris may even be up for the on-stage collaboration because he puts Rihanna's success in front of his personal feelings! A source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com

Rihanna wants message from dead grandmother

The 'Rude Boy' singer has been rocked by the loss of her beloved grandparent Clara 'Dolly' Braithwaite on June 30, and is hoping she will send her some sort of message from the afterlife to let her know she is still watching over her.

Referring to her by her nickname, she tweeted: 'I wish u were here ... Got so many questions and you always had answers #grangranDOLLY

'Send a message in the wind or something please #grangranDOLLY (sic)'

Rihanna is reported to be spending time with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in the South of France and her desire to speak to 'Dolly' could come from her need for advice on whether she should get involved again with the man who brutally assaulted in February 2009.

Rihanna cancelled her appearance at the Rock In Rio festival in Madrid, Spain, and flew back to her native Barbados to be with her mother Monica after the death of her grandmother.

She then attended both funeral services held for Clara, one in New York and another in Barbados.

Rihanna frequently talks to her passed grandparent directly in her tweets, paying tribute after her passing by writing: 'Goodbye grangranDolly get your beauty rest until I see you. grangranDolly that is all. (sic)'

Before her Barbados funeral, she wrote: 'grangranDolly time for your party in Barbados. (sic)'

Rihanna has become increasingly spiritual in her tweets since 'Dolly' died, writing yesterday: 'I put it all in Your hands!!! I love my Creator!!!! #1Love #1Life (sic).'

She has also retweeted a post by Spiritual Truths, hinting at her love life: 'Love is calling you, the happiness you seek is written within the heart, take notice of your feelings & find your way home.'

Chris Brown and Rihanna Together again in the Mediterranean?

Rihanna and Chris Brown have traveled some rough seas in the past, first together, then very much apart. But have the two singers been canoodling on a boat in the South ofFrance? 

Here's what we know: Rihanna has been on an extended vacation with girlfriends, first indulging a retail-heavy stint on Sardinia, an island off the coast of Italy.

From there the gang drifted to the French region of the Mediterranean, where she relaxed and partied on her rented yacht with the likes of Magic Johnson in St. Tropez, the Daily Mail said. Chris Brown conveniently touched down on a boat himself, also in St. Tropez, where he's in town to film a music video with rapper Ludacris.

Brown reportedly joined Rihanna in Sardinia, according to the New York Daily News, prior to joining Luda for the video shoot.

"He was probably there for two days," the newspaper said, claiming an eyewitness had seen Brown present with Rihanna's group, adding, "[She] doesn’t want anyone to know that they are together."

For good reason: The two have faced endless criticism for remaining friendly, even working together, since Brown assaulted RiRi ahead of the 2009 Grammy Awards and earned a felony conviction for it.

Sardinia or not, Brown's current presence in France is strictly business, his rep said. "There is no Rihanna connection," the spokesperson told Hollyscoop, adding that Breezy's girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, is in tow.

Complicating matters: Rihanna's delirious and profane (you've been warned) Twitter feed. All vacation long she's been sending brooding shots of herself in repose to her "baby" or "boo."

Not to mention Sunday, when Brown landed in St. Tropez via helicopter, Rihanna tweeted, "Touch down baby, help me pick out my fit," presumably referring to her ensemble. 

No matter their relationship status, these two still know how to make waves.
