Lady Gaga Rules Billboard.com's Readers Poll 2013

Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande also scored major wins, but Gaga was the Billboard.com readers' MVP.

Put your hands up, make 'em touch: Lady Gaga is the ruler of Billboard.com's 2013 Readers' Poll, which allowed pop music fans far and wide to vote for their favorite albums, songs, videos and performances of the past year. Gaga, who returned in late 2013 with her "ARTPOP" opus, emerged in a superstar-laden field and claimed the poll's top prize: the 2013 MVP.

However, the MVP award was just the start for Gaga. "ARTPOP" was voted the readers' favorite album to top the Billboard 200 chart in 2013, while the official clip for "Applause" ran away with the Favorite Music Video category. Gaga's two-song stop on "Saturday Night Live" last month was voted the Favorite TV Performance of the year, and the singer blew away the competition in the Fashion category. And although "Lady Gaga Cancels Tour Dates Due To Injury" won the Biggest Disappointment award, that win just demonstrates how eager fans remain to see Gaga live -- her next tour was voted the most anticipated event of 2014.

2013 was a huge year for Gaga in the Readers' Poll, but Miley Cyrus wasn't too far behind the "Do What U Want" singer. "Wrecking Ball," Cyrus' first No. 1 single on the Hot 100 chart, was voted the best Hot 100 chart-topper of the year, and Cyrus' "Bangerz" career revival was voted the Comeback of the Year. Cyrus' twerk-happy VMAs performance was voted the Most Shocking Moment in music of 2013, and the "Wrecking Ball" online parodies won the vote for the Best Viral moment of the year.
Some other winners of note: just like in our mid-year poll, Ariana Grande ran away with the Newcomer of the Year vote, overcoming fellow newbies Imagine Dragons and Lorde in the vote. Taylor Swift's international Red run was voted the Favorite Tour of the year, while Lollapalooza and "The X Factor" won for the year's best festival and musical TV show, respectively. And although we had to remove Beyonce from one of our categories -- "Beyonce Does Not Release An Album in 2013" certainly still can't be an option in the Biggest Disappointment vote! -- Queen Bey gave the Festival Performance of the year at Made In America, while she and Jay Z were voted the Hottest Couple of 2013.
Check out the full results below -- including the percentage of the votes that each candidate received:

Beyonce Spends 31st Birthday on Yacht in France With Jay-Z, Blue Ivy, Goes Without Makeup

Beyonce Without MakeUp

Beyonce got plenty of wishes from loved ones -- not to mention fans worldwide -- on her 31st birthday on Tuesday, Sept. 4. But the Grammy-winning superstar celebrated the occasion with just her immediate fam: hubby Jay-Z and baby daughter Blue Ivy, 9 months.

New photos reveal that the "I Was Here" singer spent her birthday aboard a private yacht cruising through the Mediterranean Sea in the South of France.

Going makeup-free and wearing a nautical-style blue-and-white outfit, Beyonce sipped white wine alongside her husband of four years Jay-Z (real name: Shawn Carter), 42. Looking cuter and more grown-up than ever, little girl Blue showed off a full head of curly hair and she played with her mom and dad during their luxurious sail.

Beyonce's pals took over her website on Tuesday -- festooning the site with handwritten birthday wishes from the likes of BFF Gwyneth Paltrow, her mom Tina Knowles, sister Solange, former bandmate Michelle Williams and many others.

"For Dear Sweet BB on the occasion of her 31st birthday,"  Oscar-winning actress Paltrow, 39, wrote in a note she signed along with husband Chris Martin plus their kids Apple and Moses. "We love you so very much."

Lady Gaga’s perfume featuring fragrance notes of blood and semen is top seller at Superdrug beating Beyonce and Madonna

She is famed for her eccentric style and personality so when Lady Gaga announced she was launching a new perfume with fragrance notes of blood and semen nobody was very surprised.

What is surprising though is that her debut fragrance Fame, which contains notes of blood and semen, has become the number one best-selling women’s fragrance at Superdrug just a week after hitting the shelves.

Advanced fragrance technology means that the dramatic looking black liquid turns clear as soon as it is sprayed in to the air, and the bottle is pure Gaga: black and gold featuring gilded monster claws.

Best-seller: Whilst Cher Lloyd's new fragrance took the top spot over at The Fragrance Shop, Lady Gaga was Superdrug's resident hero
This unique perfume concept has translated in to ringing tills for team Gaga, the £23.99 parfum has already sold more than both Beyonce and Madonna's fragrances did in their first week of launch.

Sara Wolverson, Superdrug beauty director said: 'Lady Gaga is a true original and she has brought something completely new to the fragrance market.

'While initial reports promised slightly scary fragrance notes the actual perfume is sophisticated, floral, addictive, moreish and sexy which paired with the black liquid and dramatic styling is truly original.

'We knew Lady Gaga would be popular but have been astounded by the rush to be the first to buy the fragrance.'

In her perfume campaign, Gaga is seen reclining with an arm behind her head, while holding the perfume in her other hand.

Scantily clad men - who have been shrunk to miniature size - are strategically placed over her body to save her blushes.
Renato Semerari, president of Coty Beauty, said: 'She is an artist that is never satisfied with the status quo - she always has this way of challenging everybody and trying to do something more, something different.'

HOW DO YOU CREATE FAME? THE SCIENCE BIT ...

This crushed-floral fragrance is characterised by its unique black formula that turns invisible when airborn, The mix of opulent ingredients includes poisonous flower Belladonna, sweet honey drops, saffron and apricot.

The black-to-clear fragrance is a fantastic innovation of patent pending fluid technology and has a unique structure called the "push-pull technology," where the ingredients interact together to highlight different olfactive aspects of each note at the same time, without any hierarchy.

The scent is built around three main accords: dark, sensual and light.

The rich floral layers of crushed Tiger Orchid & Jasmine Sambac work together to create a fragrance of floral and fruity elements.

Beyonce Performing At Jay-Z's Made In America Festival?

Beyonce Perfom
Jay-Z's Budweiser-sponsored Made in America Festival is right around the corner, approaching quickly on September 1 and 2, and word is that his wife Beyonce will be a "surprise" addition to the already star-filled lineup.
An insider told the Huffington Post: "Beyonce will hit the stage in a surprise performance at her hubby's festival next weekend in [Pennsylvania]. The performance is top secret but it will be filmed for Jay's documentary about the event. It's going to be epic." So much for being "top secret."
It's been confirmed that Ron Howard will shoot the as-yet-untitled doc, which will be co-produced by Howard's longtime producing partner Brian Grazer, marketing executive/former record label exec Steve Stoute and Jigga.
The diverse Made in America festival line-up includes: Pearl Jam, the reunited Run-DMC, Passion Pit, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Odd Future, Wale, Rita Ora, Drake, Miike Snow, Santigold, Janelle Monae, D'Angelo, Skrillex, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Gary Clark Jr., Dirty Projectors, Chris Cornell, Jill Scott, the Hives, X, DJ Shadow and Prince Royce, among others.
