One Direction Hot Sexy Picture |
One Direction may have not been crowned winner's on the X Factor but it seems the lads have come a long way from then as it has been reported that the group have earned an estimated £100 million between them over the past two years. Not bad going!
Since leaving the X Factor series in 2010, One Direction have become one of the most financially successful UK groups of all time...and that's after releasing just one album.
The claims were made in the new edition of Tom Bower's biography of Simon Cowell, called Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell.

"One Direction were Cowell's new Westlife – a revival of his mastery of the music business," Tom Bower writes in the new chapter, reportsThe Mirror.
"Nothing had been left to chance by Sony Music, with the band's hit album Up All Night selling over five million copies.
"The songs, publishing, discs, DVDs, merchandising and endorsements brought in huge profits, with the five members of the group together estimated to have earned nearly £100 million ($162 million). Naturally, Sony and Syco raked in much more."

It is believed that Syco and Sony Music have earned as much as £200 million ($324 million) from One Direction's commercial success.
And the money is set to continue to roll in as One Direction prepare for the release of their second album Take Me Home which will be followed by a 100 date world tour next year.
A 3D movie featuring the group is also due to be released next year, and according to reports they have signed an advertising deal for Pepsi worth £11 million.
Well we certainly know why the ladies love them and why they're jealous of the One Direction lads' girlfriends.
